Metal Cages
The Metal Cages are designed to store goods like bottle preforms or caps.
The most common sizes are:
- 1m x 1,2m x 1,2m (l x w x h) und
- 1m x 1,2m x 0,9m (l x w x h).
As with all our products, we can respond to customer requirements and produce individual sizes.
The Metal Cages can also be optionally equipped with discharge flaps. Boxes with discharge flaps in the bottom are suitable for emptying bulk goods of smaller dimensions (for example, bottle caps).
Our Metal Cages are equipped with Inlets/Innerliners and bags to protect the goods stored. These prevent the contents of the boxes from being pushed through the bars and protect the stored goods from dirt and dust.

Are the Metal Cages also suitable for storing finished bottles?
We have particular Bottle Storage Boxes (BSB) in our portfolio for finished bottles.
Are the goods in the Metal Cages protected?
Yes, by custom-made bags or inner liners/inlets. The inner liners/inlets are solid material sheets (polypropylene) in the most common thicknesses of 0.8 to 1.5 mm, attached to the bottom and the side walls. These prevent the contents of the boxes from being pushed through the bars.
Are there also Innerliners/Inlets for the Metal Cages?
Yes, we also manufacture cage-appropriate Innerliners (IL) / Inlets to protect the goods.
Are there also discharge flaps for the Metal Cages?
Upon request, we equip the Metal Cages with emptying flaps in the bottom. In recent years, the smaller Metal Cage with a discharging flap in the bottom was often requested.
Existing Metal Cages can also be retrofitted with disharge flaps in our service station.
The Metal Cages with discharge flaps in the bottom are designed for emptying bulk goods such as bottle caps.
The flaps facilitate emptying, as there is no need to turn over the Metal Cages.
Are the Metal Cages also suitable for storing and transporting other goods besides bottle preforms or caps?
- Yes, the Metal Cages are very versatile, and thanks to their robust design, even heavier items can be stored. The boxes are also easy to stack. o Furthermore, the Metal Cages are very suitable for storing and transporting bulk goods.
